The Adecco Group, the world’s leading provider of workforce solutions, announced today that it has joined the International Organisation of Employers (IOE). The goal of the partnership is to combine The Adecco Group’s expertise on the world of work with the IOE’s strong position as the representative of employers, and collaborate to develop professional management practices and policy frameworks able to support workers’ employability and employers’ competitiveness.
Youth employment, skills, the connection between education and work, the future of work, business and human rights, and active employment policies are some of the key topics where The Adecco Group and the IOE seek to join forces.
“Both our organisations will benefit enormously from this partnership. I have no doubt that the combination of The Adecco Group’s experience in understanding the transformation taking place in the world of work, together with the IOE’s history in shaping the global social and labour policy debate will produce great results. This partnership will not only have a positive impact on our Members but will also help us support all stakeholders grappling with the implications of the changing world of work,” says Linda Kromjong, IOE Secretary-General.
“As the world’s leading provider of workforce solutions, we are delighted to join the world’s leading employers’ organisation. Only by joining forces and sharing expertise and competences, will it be possible to tackle the challenges and capitalize on the opportunities of today’s global economy and labour market. The IOE is excellently placed to represent the world’s employers. Together we can enhance collaboration with policy makers and educational institutions to develop employment and educational frameworks able to shape the future of work,” added Alain Dehaze, The Adecco Group CEO.
